At the origin of the concept were two vascular doctors
In 1989, Dr. Michaël Prüfer, co-founder of BV SPORT and multiple world champion and Olympic speed skiing champion in 1992 at the Albertville Olympics, became interested in enhancing the performance of elite athletes. Recognizing the significant role of recovery in performance improvement, he then invented a revolutionary new concept of compression socks specifically tailored to athletes... BV SPORT (Booster Veins Sport) was founded in 1998. Success was immediate, with prestigious clients lining up. BV SPORT products are used by top European clubs and the world's best international athletes.
